2012 Goals

My Goals for 2012 are few, and simple, and hopefully within my reach! Check back here for my progress, as I use the blog as a tool for keeping on track and keeping a record of how I am doing!

#1. Create Art Everyday
September Update: I have initiated a "30 Faces of September" project for myself.
October Update: I started in on Project Life again...and that's an everyday thing just
to try and keep up. I've set a goal for myself to finish FOUR
                                   WEEKS before 2013.
December Update: I finished those four weeks of Project Life! AND I cleaned off
my desk in my studio so I can actually work up there now! AND I
bought a subscription to the Studio Calico kit club, so I'll have new
fun stuff coming every month to inspire me.

#2. Read 52 Books - Finished!

#3. Reconnect With Friends Via "Coffee Dates"
September Update: I go on a "coffee date" every two weeks (or so) with BFF. This is
                              new territory for me....
October Update: I am trying to connect with people in general through emails and
blog comments. This is also new territory for me, but the response I
                              am getting it very positive!

#4. Look To The Sky
July Update: It has been really hard to do this lately, what with my early bedtime
during the week, then my forgetting it on the weekends! BFF is
(maybe, fingers crossed) getting a telescope in the fall. And then I
will be begging my way over there more often!
August Update: BFF is a genius and my green-with-envy was showing when he
texted me how gorgeous the moon was while I was busy working a
crop. So as soon as I got home, I ran out to the field with my handy
Evening Sky Map and "showed" BFF how to find Vega & the Summer
                              Triangle, among other things.
September Update: BFF & I spent a lovely Saturday AM out in a field watching
the sky at the beginning of the month. And now I find if I get up early
enough I can see one star out of my bathroom window!
